It brings joy to my heart when people tell me stories about how they have changed for the better since they started working out. Often I hear women say they are more energetic during the day or are able to fit in their clothes better. This makes me get super excited. The neatest thing to hear is how their new found fitness lifestyle has trickled down to their family and friends. How cool is that?
We as women, married or not, moms or not, have this aura about us that attracts people to look at us. They are interested in what we are doing. I believe that’s how God made us. We are to be the backbone of our family. We also speak 10 thousand more words then men so more people have a chance to hear us Ha ha. When we are in a bad mood we tend to let everyone know and can sometimes cause the people around us to be in a bad mood too. The same thing can happen when we are in good moods. Think about it. If we go to work always moody and suddenly we start going to work happy and energetic don’t you think people will want to know what you’re doing. If you tell them that you started working out and they see you eating healthier they may want to do the same. Before you know it you have a circle of friends or family members joining in your fitness journey. We are all flashlights some brighter than others. Since big macs and garage door openers have been invented people have started to put on extra pounds. We all know that can lead to moodiness. Let’s be the light in other peoples darkness.
If your flashlight is dim try putting in some new batteries! Fill the room you are in with light and lead people in the right direction. Remember people watch us just because we are women. Tell them what you have been up to and be positive. You have achieved so much these last few weeks at boot camp. Jenna, Kayla, and I are so proud of all of you. Keep up the great work and we will see you tomorrow!
